Kapolei Keiki Wellness Day

Saturday, April 15th, 2017
Kapolei High School Gymnasium
9AM to 12PM

Kapolei Keiki Wellness Day is an annual event hosted by the Office of Representative Sharon Har with the intent to bring together various community resources and service providers under one room to be a one-stop-shop parents and children alike.  While many of these resources and providers are readily available, they may be difficult for West Oahu families to take advantage of due to geography or just a lack of time.  By bringing all of these resources and providers together, hopefully it will result in families that will be armed with the latest and best knowledge with time leftover to grow and to spend together.

When we talk about wellness, the emphasis is not just on the physical health of our keiki, but a holistic approach to their overall well-being.  A perfectly healthy child that is being bullied at school, or who does not have access to proper dental hygiene can also be at a strong disadvantage.  Some children struggle in school simply because they are afflicted with an undiagnosed learning disability.  For these reasons, it is important not just to look at the physical health of our keiki, but their overall well-being.

Here are some of the exhibitors that we have confirmed for Kapolei Keiki Wellness Day:
